Whispir extends into US Government Sector

ASX-listed SaaS company, Whispir (ASX:WSP) has expanded its channel partnerships in the United States, entering a reseller agreement with leading US Government sector IT solutions provider, Carahsoft Technology Corporation (Carahsoft).

ASX-listed SaaS company, Whispir (ASX:WSP) has expanded its channel partnerships in the United States, entering a reseller agreement with leading US Government sector IT solutions provider, Carahsoft Technology Corporation (Carahsoft).

Under the agreement Carahsoft will promote and market Whispir’s platform to Carahsoft’s customer network in the US.

An aggregator and distributor of hardware, software and support solutions for US federal, state and local government agencies, Carahsoft is one of the most successful technology providers in the US with annual revenue of more than US$5 billion.

Carahsoft provides tailored technology solutions to meet the specific needs of government departments through its partner ecosystem of technology vendors, resellers and system integrators.

Whispir CEO Jeromy Wells, said, “Our partnership with Carahsoft enables Whispir to cost-effectively target the US public sector at scale. Whispir’s communications workflow platform is ideal for government customers as it can be used to solve thousands of communications challenges and integrates with existing IT systems.

“Carahsoft is a respected technology provider, known for delivering the best in class technology solutions supported by more than 1,000 sales, marketing and customer service professionals.”

“This agreement with Carahsoft complements our existing US channel partnerships with Twilio, AWS and Nexmo where we are targeting multiple industry sectors, including healthcare.”

Whispir has also strengthened its relationship with AWS, achieving AWS Digital Customer Experience (AWS DCX) Competency status for marketing automation.

This recognises Whispir’s proven technological expertise in providing end-to-end, personalised, automated marketing solutions that enhances the opportunity for Whispir users to attract and retain their customers across multiple communication channels. It builds on Whispir’s recent certification as an AWS APN Advanced Technology Partner.

AWS DCX Competency status is awarded to AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners with solutions that follow best practice for building secure, high-performing, resilient and efficient cloud infrastructure for industry applications.

Whispir utilises AWS’s cloud infrastructure, innovation and expertise to deliver seamless user experiences for our customers.

To oversee these and other US initiatives,Peter Gehl will join Whispir as Vice President Americas. Gehl is a 20-year enterprise software market veteran with Salesforce, Oracle and Kenshoo.

“Peter’s extensive North American and international experience in SaaS and PaaS organisations will be invaluable as we continue our North American growth strategy.

“We are fortunate that we’ve been able to secure an executive of Peter’s calibre who has been at the forefront of enterprise software companies in both corporate and start-ups environments for more than two decades. He has successfully increased revenue and profitability for these organisations with effective go-to-market and business development strategies.

“During his time at Salesforce and Oracle, Peter oversaw market development and strategy, revenue growth and profitability as well as global sales partnerships. His established sales networks, market insights and technical capability will be an enormous asset to our North American team, enabling us to accelerate our aspirations in that market.”
