With the introduction of the brand new DE6340, a second generation 4-port digital signage player is born. As the successor of the DE6140, this new player aims for 4-panel video walls and mouth-watering UHD menu boards. With the DE6340 AOPEN introduces its first AMD Ryzen™ Embedded processor-based digital signage player with four 4K 60 Hz outputs and HDR support for power-efficient solutions with tremendous graphics. This continues the tradition of AOPEN using AMD products to power their digital signage solutions.
“Today’s demands for digital signage solutions have increased drastically with the rapid adoption of 4K panels and similar rich content and new technologies. AMD provides solutions that enable high performance embedded applications and we’re delighted to work with AOPEN to create products using the latest AMD technologies included in AMD Ryzen Embedded Processors.” Said Stephen Turnbull, Director of product marketing, Datacenter and Embedded Solutions Group, AMD.

In turn, our customers develop better solutions that drive customer satisfaction. We’ve witnessed AMD’s dedication to digital signage solutions. Thanks to their strong headway in visual applications we are able to offer a more customer-focused product range with new technologies, such as the powerful new Ryzen™ processors and Radeon graphics with Eyefinity™ technology for maximum flexibility for our customers.”
AOPEN’s DE6200 featuring AMD’s RX-421 embedded SoC, is a value solution that solves the general lack of triple digital output solutions from other vendors. It excels at delivering vivid content like 4K promotional videos alongside static information like menus and service information.
The DEV7610-X6 features an AMD E8860 GPU with 6 Mini DisplayPort for high-end, multi-screen video wall solutions aimed at premium, and corporate locations, or critical operations such as control rooms. It features an aluminum front panel for unobtrusive installation.
With its dedication to product design for maximum performance and usability, AOPEN’s products are recognizable by the distinctive power button and durability. With 20 years of experience in digital signage, AOPEN has built the knowledge necessary to not only meet its customers’ needs but go beyond any expectation. Currently, final touches are being put on various multiport models with scaling support for multiple displays that go beyond 6 ports.
DE6200 - Low power, high-performance triple screen AMD solution The DE6200 is a cost-effective design with low power consumption. The player has three display outputs with support for hardware decode of H.264 or HEVC/H.265 for video, thanks to the embedded AMD RX-421 SoC. The benefit over traditional 3-display solutions from most other vendors is that the DE6200 supports 4K on its display outputs. With onboard hardware accelerated support for HEVC/H.265 and H.264 decoding, 4K@60 video material is delivered lag and stutter free its HDMI 2.0 port. The HDMI 1.4 ports are displaying more static 4K@30Hz content. The DE6200 and the new DE6340 share an identical 1.25L chassis and are easily adaptable to any ultra-small form factor installation.
DE6340 - AMD Ryzen™ Embedded Processor-based digital signage The DE6340 is AOPEN’s first AMD Ryzen™ Ryzen Embedded™ processor- based digital signage player and excels at creating low-power, high-performance symmetrical video walls. Powered by the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V1807B processor, it brings together the breakthrough performance of the pioneering AMD “Zen” CPU and “Vega*” GPU architectures in a seamlessly-integrated SoC solution for powerful graphics capabilities and processing efficiency. With four HDMI 2.0b ports supporting 4K @ 60p it allows for ultra-high definition content (HEVC/H.265 & VP9 support**) displayed across a variety of video walls while keeping total power consumption well below 90W.
The DE6340 features AiCU which reduces costs associated with management and maintenance. The AiCU enables remote control (Power, BIOS settings and Windows functions), and advanced system data recording. It stores maintenance, location, and project data for easy troubleshooting and reporting, while Super RTC simplifies scheduling power on/off cycles for enhanced power-saving. The AiCU also includes HDMI signal detection, which checks for loose, or broken cables to help troubleshooting any display issues. The DE6340 will be available near the end of Q4 2018.
DEV7610-X6 High-end video wall solution The new DEV7610-X6 is a high-end player for multi-screen video wall solutions. The new housing with an aluminum front was designed for unobtrusive installation in commercial environments. Graphics are provided by an AMD Radeon™ E8860 GPU with six mini DisplayPort connections, while an LGA1151 Intel® Core™ CPU powers both the onboard DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 ports. The front panel of the DEV7610-X6 features line-out and mic-in, USB Type-C USB 3.1 Gen2, and USB 3.0 ports. On the rear, there are an additional 2x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 ports, an RJ-45 Gbit Ethernet port and six mini-DisplayPort connectors. The DEV7610-X6 will be available in November.

Increasing mandates around the security of personal data have made encryption for every business. Australian businesses are leading the world in the use of encryption to protect backups, payment-related data, and laptops – and yet they still have a long way to go before encryption is both ubiquitous and manageable.

Increasing use of encryption has created new challenges for enterprise security managers. Ever more-sophisticated encryption such as Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) protects data and may even boost your Google ranking – but it also provides a haven for malicious code that may use encryption to bypass enterprise security controls.
