Spam attacks increased 4 per cent from February to March 2003. Spam attacks totalled 6,458,065 in February and jumped to 6,716,387 in March. Within that total, attacks from messages offering Internet or computer products increased the most, from 3 per cent to 10 per cent over that two month span. Messages advertising health products and leisure activities came in second (both up 6 per cent) and were followed by scams, which rose by 5 per cent from February to March. SOURCE: Brightmail
