Security Movers: Attachmate Appoints New NZ Country Manager

Attachmate has promoted Martin Mooney to Country Manager, New Zealand.

Following several executive leadership changes earlier this year, Houston-based holding group Attachmate has promoted Martin Mooney to Country Manager, New Zealand.

Mooney was territory manager for Attachmate’s NetIQ division since 2007. He will now oversee the group’s four business units in NZ – Attachmate, NetIQ and recently acquired Novell (and SUSE).

Mooney has previously worked for Datacom Foundry Networks, Compuware and F5.

After the take-over of Novell in April, the Attachmate Group shuffled a number of its high profile executive roles, including the appointment of former NZ general manager, Boris Ivancic to vice-president and general manager of Asia-Pacific.

Attachmate Group’s products include security, interoperability, communications, management, virtualisation and terminal emulation software.
