Vodafone and gotalk sign exclusive NZ licensing agreement

<p>gotalk, a Trans Tasman telco, announced today that it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Vodafone to introduce Super Buzz, its highly successful mobile calling card, into the New Zealand market.</p>
<p>Users will be able to call many overseas destinations such as Australia, China, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Japan and South Korea for as little as 7.5c per minute from a Vodafone mobile or a landline.</p>
<p>gotalk CEO, Steve Picton said that he was delighted to bring Super Buzz to New Zealand, following its success in Australia as one of the most popular calling cards.</p>
<p>“We are proud to be partnering with Vodafone to offer this great service to customers around New Zealand, particularly during this busy holiday time,” he said.</p>
<p>Vodafone Head of New Product Development, Hamish Sansom said that Super Buzz was another product Vodafone was pleased to offer mobile customers as part of the overall range currently available.</p>
<p>“Using a calling card to reach friends and family overseas is just one of the cost effective solutions we have introduced for our customers,” he said.</p>
<p>Super Buzz can be purchased as a physical card, rechargeable card or voucher from any one of the 7,500 leading retailers, petrol stations and newsagents across New Zealand and activated by dialling 2GO (246) from a Vodafone mobile or 01446 from landlines.</p>
