Test compares 'apples with apples' detection and related detection reporting only, and is no more than a snapshot or point in time assessment with a specific set of samples.
Test results should not be taken in isolation as a measure of overall detection effectiveness of any solution. Results will vary based on the number of samples used, and over time.
Test is based on a random selection of 'in the wild' captured samples (33) that are verified as executable on the protected operating system and display malicious actions based on empirical behaviour analysis.
Test includes a subset of 'common' benign files (including PDF, Word, Excel, and image examples).
