SYDNEY – November 19, 2009 – Independent analyst firm Forrester Research, Inc. positioned Axway as a Leader in the October 2009 ‘The Forrester Wave™: B2B Service Providers, Q4 2009’ report.

Forrester Research evaluated Axway’s strengths and weaknesses along with 11 other B2B service providers. ‘The Forrester Wave™: B2B Service Providers, Q4 2009’ report indicated: "Axway scored well due to the multiple delivery options that it supports and extensive managed service offerings."

Available as on-premise software and through hosted and managed services, Axway’s business-to-business (B2B) solutions enable companies to manage delivery cycles, increase end-to-end visibility, protect sensitive data in motion, and manage large and diffuse trading partner communities. Axway’s comprehensive business-to-business integration (B2Bi) solutions include services for electronic data interchange (EDI) translation, secure B2B communications, managed file transfer (MFT), visibility and analytics, application integration, support for multi-enterprise collaboration interactions and community management.

Community management poses a myriad challenges, including security, efficiency, visibility and integration. Depending on an organisation’s size, industry or strategy, the company can configure its B2B infrastructure in a variety of ways, including on-premise or hosted options.

Axway’s B2B solutions feature trading partner and community management, internal and back-end integration, plus message tracking and secure support for standard messaging and business protocols. Moreover, Axway has developed a comprehensive set of tools and methods, as well as a dedicated centre, to help customers with their community on-ramping. In addition, Axway’s partnerships with Atos Origin, HP and Wipro, as well as its own managed services and integration offerings, round out the company’s comprehensive B2B offering.

Meeting the most stringent service level agreements (SLAs), both in terms of service availability and support availability, allows Axway’s B2B services to be more competitive in the market. Axway has developed flexible pricing policies that take into account the service level required by the customer.

“We believe being positioned as a leader in ‘The Forrester Wave™: B2B Service Providers, Q4 2009’ report is representative of our dedication to innovation in the B2B infrastructure market,” said Dave Bennett, chief technology officer, Axway. “Our hybrid delivery model allows us to provide our customers with a strong set of business solutions to efficiently and securely conduct business interactions across their networks of trading partners.”
